Some images we are able to share from Avengers: Infinity War. I had the pleasure of being able to work on a few things from this film through Legacy Effects. The 1/2 Scale Corvus Glaive maquette was used on set as a lighting reference stand-in for VFX. I was given a lead role in getting Ian Joyner's awesome Zbrush sculpt ready for 3D printing. The process required a team of people to tackle sectors of the 3D model and engineer/ re-sculpt elements. Once 3D printed, the parts go through an infinity-gauntlet of skilled artists and craftsmen from our workshop. Although 3D printing is amazing, each part still requires body shop work before they are molded, painted, and assembled.
